Star(1): The radii of the base polygon and the star are set to be the same length. Star(2): The tips of the stars are set just enough to go under the center polygon. CAD will prove to be a very useful tool to find out the exact dimensions to accomplish this arrangement. The simple geometric exercise will be done by CAD software to find the answer. After the short lecture, the attendees will make the samples shown in the picture. Precut printed papers will be provided for this session. The attendees are required to make precise scoring along the diagram lines and then fold along the precreased lines. At the end I will welcome comments on CAD usage. Bring a ruler for scoring. Ball point pens (red and blue) will be provided.
