Chequered Spinner Cube

Do you love modulars? Do you love action models? This Checquered Spinner Cube will delight you! Max Hulme (U.K.) created the Chequered Spinner Cube (2017), which is a variation on his Pixel Unit (2007). You will fold and assemble 6 identical square sheets of 6-inch (15 cm) plain kami. Glue or scissors are not required. The finished cube holds together very sturdily and is about 3 inches (7.5 cm) from pointy bit to pointy bit. To make this cube spin, Max suggests, "Hold lightly between finger and thumb. Blow slightly off centre to spin the cube."
