Learn to fold Jeremy Shafer's Easy Flasher Hat! Don't let the name fool you, however; the model isn't a walk in the park! When folded from a 2-foot square as a starting point, the form-fitting hat is 5" tall, with about 4-5" of brim sticking out of your head. It also happens to collapse into an easily-transported cylinder! Afterwards, you can wet the model and it'll spring closed on its own! Be prepared for hat puns, however… I will provide a pre-folded grid of 27 X 27 paper for people in the class, but if you want, you can bring your own. A 27x27 or 31x31 grid is recommended, folded from heavier paper if possible. The squares I will bring are made from craft paper. Familiarity with the flasher family of models is preferred but not required.
