House Box by Ayako Kawate

This two part box has a pitched "roof" lid and a rectangular shaped bottom. It is made with two squares of paper, with the lid slightly larger than the bottom to accommodate good closure. Paper will be provided for both parts. This class requires precise folding. The roof includes an interesting maneuver which elevates the level to just above basic Intermediate. A straight edge would be helpful to delineate the crease lines of four diamond shapes that form the roof. Paper will be provided for the student.
