This is a fractal model I designed. There are three variations of it, all of which will be be shown in the class. During the class, we will shoot for at least three stages. However, this model can keep having stages added to it as long as the paper permits. This model is classified as "supercomplex" because it contains a folding sequence made up of a plethora of varied sinks. Hence, a mastery of sinks, unsinks, and spread sinks is required. The students going to this class should know how to fold with absolute precision. Prior experience to making origami fractals and understanding fractal patterns is suggested. The paper suggested for this model would be a sturdy, medium thick square (70-110 gsm). The size of the square should be at least 8+ inches. Paper will be provided.
