Star Sophia (with a variation)

This is Carmen Sprung's beautiful Star Sophia with a variation to the last step (created by Margaret Wong) that results in a color reversal in each module. The effect created is of a ribbon wrapping around the star. It requires 6 sheets of duo paper whose sides are in the ratio 2 to (sqrt 3)/2. Precut rectangles will be provided for the class along with instructions on how to get 2 such rectangles from a square of paper.
