This is a very simple and very versatile unit that can be connected in different ways to create many different types of 2D and 3D modular models. In the class, we will fold several units together. Then all assembly methods and some of the resulting models will be demonstrated and students can choose which model(s) they want to make. The smallest number of units required to form a modular is two and the largest has no limit. (This unit was named by Tomoko Fuse when she saw it at the 2016 OUSA Convention.) These are modular models and some of them may take longer to finish than the class time. All units are folded from 3-inch squares, which will be provided for the class. If anyone wants to use smaller squares, a paper cutter or scissors will be useful.
