We will be folding the Mirrored Compound Squares Tessellation by Madonna Yoder and discussing variations on the pattern, including how to generalize the compounding method to other twists, how to add spacing between twists, and different arrangements of twists. We will also cover a method for grid division in thirds that is applicable to any odd grid divisions.
I've published related techniques and models but not this exact model. I'll cover this material at the beginning of the class: https://gatheringfolds.com/blogs/news/open-compound-square-twist-tutorial
