A model involving circular paper, curved folds and radial symmetry. It is difficult, but not complex in the usual sense. It is offered as a Monday class, because it involves a technique (curved surface folding) and an extensible method: folding this model will point the way to make more complicated models, such as a twelve-pointed swirl or an eccentric swirl. There's some math content, but nothing out of the way. The model requires circles. I'll cut some, ahead of time.
