This class is intended to be an introduction to origami tessellations. We will make this model in stages. First we will make the tessellation unit from a photocopy of the crease pattern. Next, we will make a larger tessellation from a crease pattern. Finally, we will make the larger tessellation using special paper without a crease pattern (time permitting). Precise, neat folding, with a high degree of accuracy is required. I will be bringing special paper and photocopies of crease patterns (with permission of the creator).
