Description

In this class, you will learn how to fold an elegant modular/fractal star. Each iteration of the fractal is folded from six squares. We will start off with a single iteration. Then, time permitting, I will teach you how to cut squares, fold, and assemble the units for multiple iterations.

Supplies
  • 12 sheets of 6" kami to fold the units (6 sheets for the first iteration and 6 sheets for the second iteration, which will be cut into smaller squares).
  • 1 sheet of 6" kami (to fold a template to prepare paper for smaller iterations)
  • Scissors or a paper cutter (to prepare squares for smaller iterations)
