A quasicrystal is a structure that is ordered but not periodic. A quasicrystalline pattern can continuously fill all available space, but it lacks translational symmetry. That's what Wikipedia says. This class is about folding a quasicrystal grid on circular paper and then making a ten-sided box with indentations on the sides. This model is folded from a circle. While none of the folds in this model are above intermediate level, there is a great deal of pre-folding and radial symmetry to keep track of.
