The Art of Shaping - Exploring Form and Expression in Origami

This class focuses on the expressive side of origami, where folding meets sculpting. Through a lecture-style format, I’ll share my shaping philosophy, thought process, techniques, and the tools I use to develop form and character in my models. We'll explore the principles that guide my approach. The session will also include a short shaping exercise to demonstrate key concepts in practice, but the emphasis will be on understanding the theory and mindset behind expressive shaping. Whether you're folding animals, figures, or abstract work, this class is intended to expand your perspective and give you tools to enhance your own shaping practice. All levels are welcome.
