The success of the OrigamiUSA Convention depends upon our volunteer teachers! Those who will be teaching or volunteering more than one hour per day during class time will be able to get their class tickets early. Your authorization letter will be available at sign-in for you to indicate your first and second choices. Note that only a limited number of tickets for each class will be available for early assignment, and these tickets will be issued in sequence based on your priority number. If you volunteer to teach, someone will contact you before the convention to confirm what you are teaching, and your requirements.

If you would like to teach, please register as early as possible so that we can plan the class schedule. In order to be eligible for special early ticketing priority, you must register by May 25th and turn in your model menu sample on time (by Friday at 6:45pm). Remember that we must have the creators' permission to teach their designs, and that diagrams may be distributed only with permission from the diagrammer and creator.

If you have any questions or qualms, write to us, and mark your envelope Convention 2010 Teaching, or contact us at convention-teaching [at] origamiusa.org.

Register to Teach A Class

These forms are for those who know what they want to teach (at least approximately). If you don't know what you want to teach, please contact us at convention-teaching [at] origamiusa.org.

Please note: if you sign up for teaching, you must also register for convention, even if you are not taking classes.
