Bellevue Square Mall (Bellevue Collection) Next to & across the street from Westin Hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants.
Bellevue Art Museum, across the street and south of the Westin Hotel. The Pacific Northwest's center for the exploration of art, craft and design.
Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Visit the northwest perennial, the Yao Chinese and the alpine rock gardens. Includes many walking trails.
Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art. Hosts a collection of over 3000 dolls with 1200 on display.
Mercer Slough Park & Environmental Education Center. Includes many walking trails and great place for bird watchers. Trails begin at the historic Winter's House. Guided canoe tours through September.

Pike's Place Market. Farmers Market, arts & crafts, lots of little restaurants and the world renowned fish market where the fish get tossed.
Seattle Waterfront Shops, restaurants - don't miss eating at Ivar's Acres of Clams or visiting Ye Olde Curiosity Shop - watch ferries cross the Sound.
Seattle Aquarium. Get to see a Giant Pacific Octopus up close!
Tillicum Village. Take a cruise from the Seattle waterfront across the Puget Sound to Blake Island for Native American food and entertainment.
Seattle Underground Tour. Gives you a short history of Seattle, located in Pioneer Square
Pioneer Square. Historical parts of the city, with funky shops, restaurants, cool glass blowing shop.
Seattle Klondike Gold Rush Museum. History of the Klondike Gold Rush and the part Seattle played in the adventure. Run by the National Park System and near Pioneer Square.
Seattle Space Needle — Birds eye view of Seattle, top notch restaurant that rotates at the top.
Seattle Center. Located under the Space Needle and includes the Pacific Science Center and other attractions. Monorail goes between the Seattle Center and Westlake Center (shopping). Also many weekends include some sort of "cultural festival" so check the calendar.
Experience Music Project (locally known as EMP) — Located near the Space Needle - hard to miss with the Frank Gehry architecture.
Ride the Ducks tour. Get an overview of the Seattle area by riding and boating. See the boathouse from "Sleepless in Seattle".
Seattle Art Museum (SAM) & Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM). Art museum is close to Pike's Place and has some pretty neat stuff including a collection of Native American items - look for "Hammering Man" statue on the outside. Asian Art Museum is located in Volunteer Park. Also the Olympic Sculpture Park that has some cool "outdoor" art.
Woodland Park Zoo. See elk and bear on the Northern Trail or giraffe and zebra on the African Savanna.
Seattle Opera. At McCaw Hall at the Seattle Center.
Seattle Symphony. At Benaroya Hall - don't miss the huge Dale Chihuly glass chandeliers in the entry. Located about a block east from the Seattle Art Museum.
Pacific NW Ballet. At McCaw Hall at the Seattle Center
Seattle Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI). Near the University of Washington campus - there is a place to rent canoes for paddling around Lake Washington and the Montlake Cut (see the Arboretum from the water).
Seattle Arboretum. Wonderful botanical & Japanese gardens to tour near the University of Washington.
Museum of Flight. South of Seattle at Boeing Field - includes a history of Boeing.
Mariners Baseball. Baseball season will be open - Safeco Field is fun.
Sounders Soccer. Brand new team playing in Qwest Field.

Salish Lodge. A little further out, but worth the drive - the falls are gorgeous and the food incredible. Multi-course breakfast is fabulous!
NW Trek. Ride the bus through the large wildlife park of North American northwestern animals.
Visit Langley on Whidbey Island.
Visit Leavenworth - a Bavarian village.
Visit Winthrop - a western town.
Visit Port Townsend. And check out Fort Worden on the point - where the movie Officer and a Gentleman was filmed.
