September 29 - October 3, 2011, Bellevue, Washington, USA
The Pacific Coast OrigamiUSA Conference for 2011 was held at the Westin Bellevue Hotel in beautiful Bellevue, Washington (Seattle area), the weekend of September 29 to October 2, 2011.
Come and join us in Bellevue, Washington in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Enjoy a world-class experience in a world-class city.
Bellevue is about 8 miles due east of Seattle on the eastern shore of Lake Washington with a current population of over 126,000 people making it the fifth largest city in Washington State. The local American Indian tribes tended to live east of this area or by the western shores of the Puget Sound. The city was founded in 1869 by a Seattle baker, William Meydenbauer, and was officially incorporated on March 21, 1953. Logging and coal mining in the area now known as Coal Creek were the first industries developed in this area. The city is now the technological heart of Washington State with the nearby corporate headquarters of Microsoft, Expedia, Nintendo of America and T-Mobile.
