This page contains important information about PCOC registration. Please read through it all. Online registration forms are at the bottom.

If you have already registered but would like to add meals, the diagram book, and/or T-shirts to your existing registration, use the "Forgot Something" form.

Paid registered attendees will have access to all recorded classes. After PCOC is over, others may order recordings of the recorded classes on the Recordings page.

Early Registration

Early registration is essential for our planning purposes. Our pricing schedule therefore encourages early sign-up. On-site registration will be available, though at additional cost.

If you plan to teach a class, we need you to register early so we can plan the class schedule. As in years past, classes are assigned based on your requests and your ticketing priority number; early registration also gets you a low (good!) priority number. See Ticketing for deadlines and eligibility details.

Registration Categories

Most people come to PCOC to take classes all three days, of course! But you can come and take classes on just one or two days for a reduced fee, or if you can't attend in person, take just the online classes, or just come as a guardian, aide, or companion of another folder. Please note: all minors must identify a guardian on their registration form.

Registration categories and prices are below. Meals, book, and T-shirt prices are detailed on the Prices page.

PCOC Value Package

The PCOC Value Package (PVP) is your best deal: attend all three days of classes, get access to all online classes, the Friday Reception, Saturday Banquet, and receive a diagram book (print or PDF) and T-shirt, all as part of your package. You can also order additional books and T-shirts as additional priced items on your registration form. The PCOC Value Package costs:

  • Prior to September 23: $195 for members, $215 for non-members
  • September 23 and after: $234 for members, $258 for non-members

Day Passes

If you can only attend one or two days in person, you can register for Day Passes for one, two, or three days (though the PVP is your best options for three days). All meals, the diagram book, and/or T-shirts can also be ordered a la carte. With any Day Pass, you will receive access to all online classes (on all days) as well. Day Passes cost:

  • Prior to September 23: $120 per day for everyone
  • September 23 and after: $144 per day for everyone

Online Classes

If you can't attend in person, you can still attend the online classes—live-streamed classes from our Special Guests, and pre-recorded versions of several of the contributed classes. Recording links for all pre-recorded classes will become available at the beginning of the live class.

If you register for online classes you can order the PDF version of the diagram book on your registration form. For print books and t-shirts (which will be mailed to you), please order them through The Origami Source. Online classes cost:

  • Prior to September 23: $30 for members, $35 for non-members
  • September 23 and after: $36 for members, $42 for non-members

Guardian/Aide

Non-folding guardians of under-age children may register as a guardian/aide without charge, as may non-folders who are accompanying a person with disabilities. Each person in need of a guardian or aide will receive one Guardian badge that can be used by multiple people, one at a time. This means that if, for example, Mother wants to come on Saturday and Father on Sunday, they can each use the same badge. At least one person must register as a Guardian. Please note that Guardians cannot join students in classrooms unless both are registered to attend classes. Meals, the diagram book, and T-shirts are available for purchase a la carte on your registration form.

Companion

If you are a companion of another attendee, you can attend PCOC for free. You'll be allowed to hang out in the main community room, but not accompany your person into classrooms. Meals, the diagram book, and T-shirts are available for purchase a la carte on your registration form.

Staff

If you are a non-folder who wishes to volunteer at the convention, and is willing to commit to two hours or more per day, please fill out the main registration form, ticking the attendance options box as staff. We will then contact you.

Notifications via Email

We will be making several important announcements via email to registered attendees. Note that if you have selected "No Email from OrigamiUSA" in your Privacy settings, you won't receive these, so please visit your Privacy settings and make sure that box is unchecked.

  • Full refund if cancelled by Oct. 7, 2021.
