We continue to cautiously move forward with plans for an in-person event for PCOC 2021. We realize that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many of you are still undecided about your attendance. To help with your decision, here are our COVID-related plans and practices for PCOC 2021.
First and foremost, we will follow all guidelines from the CDC, the State of California, and the City and County of San Francisco.
In addition:
- We will require all attendees to be fully vaccinated. Unfortunately, this means that no one under 12 will be able to attend because an approved vaccine for under-12s is unlikely to be available in time for PCOC.
- All attendees must upload an image of their vaccination card prior to attending.
- Mask wearing will be required for all indoor activities, pending any changes from the CDC, State, County and City guidelines at the time of the conference.
We are encouraged that (as of August 3, 2021),
- 75% of residents in San Francisco are fully vaccinated
- The PARC 55 hotel staff is 95% vaccinated
- We will request that only vaccinated staff service our conference.

These guidelines represent our best judgment of steps we can all take to reduce risk for ourselves and each other. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at PCOC 2021 in San Francisco!
