This class is designed for experienced folders eager to explore the artistic and technical mastery of Joisel’s work. Known for his lifelike sculptures and powerful use of shaping and wet-folding, Joisel’s rat is a perfect example of how origami can bring paper to life.
For the model it would be great for the students to get tweezers, and bone creaser. This is because after a point there will be a lot of layers in the model and the bone creaser will help to fold the layers. The tweezers will help shape the model and give it a good structure. The ears, nose, and legs may require tweezers.
