Ideally, 8-inch, preferably duo, scrapbooking paper for heft.
I will provide 3" duo paper (30 sheets per student) to the class.
Supplies: 1 square of thin paper, 30cm – 35cm, colored one side
I will supply the materials.
one sheet of regular or duo origami paper 6 X 6 or larger
kami
Bone folder.
Eight 3 inch sheets of kami.
Paper with different colors on each side works the best.
Optional: bring tool such as bone folder, or expired gift card that can curl petals of the flower.
Origami dollar bill and
6 inch origami paper for peace crane
Will be provided by me.
Crisp new one dollar bills or look alike paper money.
Bone Folder
Regular 15 cm kami.
I will supply the materials.
I will provide 35cm kami paper for folding; if you are bringing your own paper, it should be least 25cm
This model requires eight square sheets of duo paper. Thin 3" (7.5cm) squares are recommended. You will see both sides of the paper on the completed model, so consider your paper and color choice before folding this star. The final steps get quite small, so a folding tool or tweezers may be helpful.
Googly eyes will be available from the teacher
Bring a precreased sheet of duo-colored paper--I will not wait for people to precrease during class

tweezers are recommended
glue may be desirable for shaping
shirt tie tac / glue
scissors, bone folder
4 pieces of 6 inch kami will work.
glue or tie tac, bone folder, tweezers
Squares will need to be cut in half to make 2 rectangles. Please have scissors or another cutting tool.
Paper cutter
Paper clips
Scoring devices (ball point pen ,etc), straight ruler, under sheet used for scoring.
Recommended ruler length: at least 8 inches.
Standard origami paper (kami), at least 6 inch
Pencil/Pen, glue to shape with if desired.
If you would like to bring your own paper, I would recommend 30+ cm, same color on both sides, thin paper (such as double tissue or kraft paper). I would not recommend thick papers or tissue foil, as layers get very thick.
35cm paper provided.
bone folder (optional)
The model stands better with the use of a little bit of glue stick between a few of the flaps.
Scoring devices: straight ruler, scoring pen (ballpoint pen, etc).
Recommended ruler length: at least 8 inches.
Having bone folders, scissors and glue on hand might be helpful but not mandatory.
Model will be folded from 10" square dual color paper. It is straightforward but does result in a few very small folds. Tweezers and a strong toothpick are helpful. If the student wishes to bring a larger sheet, the paper should be thin and strong.
10” foil will be provided.
A paper cutter to cut 6” squares down to 3” squares as needed
cutting tool
8 sheets of 6 x 6 regular origami paper will work. (You can use 3 X 3 if you prefer.)
Cutting tools
I will supply the materials.
8 sheets of 6 X 6 square regular origami paper will work. 3 X 3 squares can be used if a student prefer.
10” kami.
I will teach with kami, but any two pieces of paper will do. For a uniform colored horse, the two sheets should share the same color on at least one side.
4 pieces 6 inch or smaller kami paper.
It would be good if the student brings a sheet or two of 8.5" x 11" American letter paper. But I'll have a supply with me, if they forget.
glue, cutting tool, paper clip or a small/medium binder clip
Scissors or paper cutter
Pen/pencil, paper cutter and ruler
Paper cutter (for cutting multiple squares from a single piece of paper)
The model involves quite a few partial creases, so scoring tools could be helpful.
Optional: If you'd like to recreate the look in the photo, metallic pens can be used to highlight the crease lines after folding. The last picture shows some metallic gel pens you can bring to do the trick.
bone folder may help
Paper clips/small clothespins could be useful.
For the model it would be great for the students to get tweezers, and bone creaser. This is because after a point there will be a lot of layers in the model and the bone creaser will help to fold the layers. The tweezers will help shape the model and give it a good structure. The ears, nose, and legs may require tweezers.
1 sheet of 6in or 9in kami (Should be colored on one side and/or duo colored paper).
I will teach with 6-inch kami, but this flower will look good in any kind of paper.
A bone folder is recommended, but not required
Please bring a decently big sheet of thin paper. 25cm is a good minimum, but bigger is better. 35cm paper will be provided if needed.
No special supplies needed but tweezers or a glue stick can be useful.
The model is folded with heavy 120 gsm paper — bring your bone folders and prepare to crease sharply.
Tweezers are recommended but not necessary.
I will supply the materials.
Scoring tools (straight edge, ball point pen, etc).
Recommended ruler length: at least 8 inches.
