Maria Sinayskaya
Maria Sinayskaya is an origami artist best known for her work in modular origami, specializing in 3D geometric designs, rings, and stars. Born and raised in Russia, she later moved to South Africa, where she took up origami as a new hobby. What started as a curiosity turned into a full-blown obsession. Since then, Maria has been a regular contributor to numerous origami publications and exhibitions worldwide.
Drawing on her background in mathematics, she strives to create models that are elegantly structured and satisfying to fold. Her most recent work explores the theme of origami hearts, adding a fresh twist to a beloved classic.
Nicolas Terry
A professional origami artist since 2004, Nicolas Terry has been a special guest at numerous conventions around the world - from Japan to Colombia, via Korea, Israel, Europe and the USA - and he returns to the USA this year, after being welcomed there in 2008.
The author of several origami books and kits, he has also published over fifty specialist works, distributed via Origami-shop.com, the reference store he founded.
Passionate about transmission, he is co-founder of several major events: Ultimate Origami Convention, Convention for Creators, The World Origami Marathon and The Eric Joisel Award.
For the past two decades, he has promoted new talent by publishing their creations and contributing to their international recognition.
