Roadrunner (eating lizard)

Designed and folded by William Gozali.
From single sheet of 25 cm square double tissue.
Both the bird and lizard is from the same sheet.

Weedy Sea Dragon

Designed and folded by William Gozali.
From single sheet of 25 cm square double tissue.

Weedy sea dragon is different species from the more well known and more extravagant leafy sea dragon. This one has less amount of appendages.

Peacock Spider

From single sheet of 50 cm square double tissue.

The male of peacock spider has decorative pattern on its abdomen. It raises the abdomen and its 3rd pair of legs to impress female.

King of Saxony Bird of Paradise

From single sheet of 50 cm square double tissue.

This type of bird of paradise has two extremely long display feathers near its eyes.
It can be moved for mating display.

Greater Bird of Paradise

Greater bird of paradise has long plume near the tail that can be raised for mating display.

Leafcutter Ant

Both the ant and leaf is from the same sheet.

Leafcutter ant carry leaves to their nest to cultivate fungus, which they feed on.

Coconut Crab

From single sheet of 50 cm single tissue.

Coconut crab is a species of hermit crab who has abandoned the lifestyle of carrying shell by developing tough exoskeleton. As such it can grow really big.

Frigatebird

From single sheet of 35 cm double tissue.

Frigatebird is large sea bird, whose male has gular pouch that can be inflated for mating display.

Sweetheart Dresses

Triptych Dresses on handmade printed papers using Songbird and Sweetheart Dresses from Sok Song's book: CREASE + FOLD.

Swallows

Art with Origami and Printmaking.
This piece is on handmade paper that I made and printed on using origami and natural plants.
Kyoto's Swallow: Created by, Sok Song, folded with handmade papers.
Orchids & Hummingbirds: Created by, Michael LaFosse.

Pyramid

Own model with snapology technique, using 15 mm cardboard paper, with about 900 strips.

Asian temple (Japanese pagoda)

EH paper, 32 divisions grid.

This model derives from previous tessellations tests and will be included in PCOC 2021 book (name from San Francisco Tea garden japanese pagoda).

Hour glass

Own model with snapology technique, and 10 mm wide strips of Fabriano paper (129 gr). Total units, 840 strips.

Fusion crown

Wreath of icosidodecahedra.
Own model, mixing Tomoko Fuse units and snapology technique. Same model as the one without the snapology cover.

Own model using Tomoko Fuse equilateral triangular units.

Unit size, 15x60 mm. Total number of units, 378. Final model size 22 cm.

Polyhedra salad

A composition of different polyhedra folded with snapology technique duregins several months.

Paper used: 7, 10, 15 and 20 mm wide. Fabriano, kraft and cardboard paper, 120 gr.

Casiopea

EH paper, 64 divisions grid.

Molecule composed of a triangle twist on top of a triangle pleat (no twist), surrounded by triangle twists. This is the model that will be taught in my workshop (32 divisions version).

A molecule composed if a triangle twist on top of an hexagon pleat (no twist), Between molecules you can find blocks of 6 triangle twists.

Colored newspaper paper, 32 divisions grid.

No twists tessellation, with small pleats that resemble bird´s beaks.

4 over 1 Honeycomb tessellation

The molecule is composed of 4 triangle twists on top of a bigger triangle twist. The space between molecules filled with a composition of triangle twists.

Tiled pyramids tessellation

EH paper, 80 divisions grid.

One triangle twist on top of a double sized triangle twist (rotated). The resulting model, when backlit, resembles “Eric Gjerde Tiled hexagons”. Model in my book “Twist and Tess”.

Stark paper, 80 divisions grid.

3 stacked square twists (each one parallel to the other). Model in my book “Twist and Tess”.
