What Makes a Cube a Cube?

Ever wonder what makes a cube a cube? In this class we will explore 3d symmetry elements and how they combine to create complex 3d shapes. The class will then look at some techniques for using symmetry elements to build 3d polyhedra from origami modular units. Finally students will use these techniques to create their own 3d models from origami modular units.
