The flower, the leaf, and the vase will be folded from three separate pieces of paper. The leaf is a cup-like shape so the flower can rest snugly inside, and the vase is tall with a flared-out top which can support the weight of the leaf and flower. Each person needs two pieces of 6 inch square paper for the flower and the vase, and one piece of 4 inch square paper for the leaf. Ideally, it would be good to use double sided paper for the flower and green paper (same color on both sides) for the leaf. Students will need scissors to cut paper to a 4 inch square piece.
