This recursive star design can be folded with as many layers as you want, but for time constraints during the class we won't fold as many as are pictured here. This star is 5-pointed, but can also be folded with more than 5 sides using the same structure.
Advisories:
- This uses non-square paper: Pentagon
- Because this star was designed from a crease pattern and is a very efficient structure, it is difficult to collapse. Folders should be experienced with complex origami and comfortable doing all-at-once collapses.
Supplies:
The Leaf Star can be folded with kami. Tools like clips and poking implements like skewers and tweezers will be helpful.
