This is a modular star made from 8 silver rectangles. It can also be assembled to a more puffy shape with 7 units. The folding and assembly are quick so I will teach the color change variation from squares too.
Advisories:
- Uses cuts.
- This uses non-square paper: Silver rectangle (1:sqrt2)
- This is a modular/composite requiring 17 sheets.
- Students should have comfort and experience folding and assembling modular stars. For some students a 3" square may be small, if so bring 4" squares.
Supplies:
A paper cutter to cut a big sheet into 8 pieces. For the color-change version, students will need 9 squares of duo kami. 3" are ok. I'll bring one big sheet for each student for the single-color version.
