This is an 8-unit modular star. Three-inch squares produce a finished model of about 4⅛ inches across. Both the unit and the assembly are simple, but each unit needs to be folded precisely.
I am particularly happy with the complete color alternation on the front side of this model. The reverse can be plain, but by adding one extra fold (step 4) you can form an eight-pointed star on the back.
