Josefa Star designed and folded by Maximiliano Ortiz. The editor suggests placing a book on the model overnight to set the creases. See PDF diagrams.

I’m Maximiliano Ortiz from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In Sept of 2021, I was inspired to start playing with paper hoping to produce unique models. I viewed it as something impossible to achieve, but to my surprise, looking for pockets and flaps, I was able to create some models. Josefa Star, named after my aunt, is one of my creations. Today I have 17 stars to my name. My advice for anyone who has not yet been inspired to create is to play with paper and surely a model will be created.

I made this model and it's very very beautiful. It also has great flexibility for artistic design with the open flaps on the front side. If each flap is slightly curled like in flower models, it becomes very 3-dimensional and adds a natural organic touch. Thank you for sharing your diagram, it is designed wonderfully and brings great joy to fold.
