The Christmas Tree Pop-Up Card designed and folded by Sy Chen. Six-inch paper makes a 2½″-tall card. Ten-inch paper makes a 4⅛″-tall card.

This design, made from a single duo-color square, is a pop-up Christmas tree embedded in a rectangular card. Origami greeting cards are one of my favorite subjects to design. This one is my take on a recent request from my wife for a card to send to her friend for the coming holiday. The incorporated color change makes the tree trunk distinguishable without using too many layers.
