Hi! My name is Santhosh.S. I am a 13-year-old origamist from India who is keen on folding tessellations, animals and geometric models. I have been involved in the art of origami for the past six years, and my areas of interest in origami include high intermediate, modular, action and traditional models. I have actively participated in several origami workshops and competitions conducted by various organizers worldwide. These have helped widen my knowledge of paper folding. I also enjoy diagramming models in my free time using Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer (which I am still learning). My aim is to introduce origami in places where it is not commonly found, and I wish to appreciate this art by contributing my best to the community.

Pushpanjali is Sanskrit for “an offering of flowers to the gods.” This model was designed on September 21, 2021, while I was experimenting with 90-degree pleat intersections, and the model is based on a repetition of these intersections.

Recommended papers are 100 gsm bond paper, Tant (best), copper tissue foil and sandwich paper. The best paper size is 21-25 cms. This is an intermediate model and is simple to fold.
