I liked the look of this model, and had to fold it. But oh lordy that diagram . . . all I ended up with was badlymangled paper. Until I gave up trying to follow every step and started simply using the logic of the paper to jump to the results. I could see what needed to be done, so I asked the paper to guide me there. Then it came out perfect. I use that sort of "conversation" when I'm designing my own models. "Paper, what can we do here? Ah, now I see!"
Anyway, I really enjoy folding it, and playing with variations.
