Excellent work, Meenakshi! We need more of this in the origami community of scholarship and documentation. I know you have some of this in your latest book, "Wondrous", but would like to see more of it documented. I've been wanting to write an analysis (not mathematical, though) of the Traditional Lily and the Hexa and Penta versions using Philip Shen's method of sinking the stamens and widening the petals; after which it no longer looks a lot like a lily, but I haven't come up with a new name for it. I learned this method from John Andrisan in ~2002 and love to fold them.
