From the editor: This is the first of Arnold’s hexagonal brooches. More hexagons and octagons are on the way. As I was preparing this article for publication, Arnold created a floral variation of the brooch at the request of some neighbors who were planning to attend a showing of the Barbie movie and wanted to dress for the occasion.
