Shachi Jain’s Jumpy Frog. Folded by Jane Rosemarin. See PDF diagrams.

As an origami teacher, I wanted my learners to jump start their origami journey. However, the model I selected, the traditional simple jumping frog wasn’t jumpy enough. This forced me to find a way to make the frog more jumpy without losing the simplicity of the original design and keeping it appropriate for beginners. I came up with a solution and created my own variation of the traditional design.

Hope your heart will jump as you fold this really Jumpy Frog and make it jump.

The frog uses a half sheet of Kami, and only one side is visible in the final design.
