The Pancake Octopus, designed and folded by Jiahui Li.
The Fold first featured the work of origami artist Jiahui Li in issue 62 and issue 71. He has published two books with Nicolas Terry, Comic Origami and Comic Origami 2, and a new book will be published later this year. Li notes that “the pancake octopus is a very interesting creature, and designing it was quite challenging. I tried to make its body by distributing its legs in the center of the paper and through the paper’s edges. I succeeded, and I hope you enjoy folding it.”
