This is a relatively straightforward model that I designed three years ago. The idea begins with a bird base and takes advantage of its many 22.5-degree angles. Although the diagram is drawn with reference to a duo-colored paper, the photographed model is actually made from dyed washi of the same color on both sides. Any moderately thin paper around 15x15 cm should work fine.
I am a high school student and origami enthusiast from China. I began creating original models several years ago and have tried a broad range of designs. Now, I am particularly interested in designing living creatures (especially different species of fish).
